The GP Retention programme is comprised of a number of projects including: retirement & succession planning, supporting practices and PCNs with embedding new roles, SWL peer support, SWL primary care inductions and SWL mentorship development. 

It is one of the strands of the General Practice Five Year Forward View (GPFV) Programme. The GPFV programme is comprised of a number of key strands and Training Hubs specifically support: Admin & Clerical Training, GP Retention and GP Resilience.
