About the event
On Wednesday 3 December 2025, 14:00 – 15:15, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) Immunisation Team will be hosting another webinar to inform you of the second phase of the changes to the routine childhood vaccination schedule which will be implemented from January 2026. This will include the introduction of a varicella (chickenpox) vaccination programme (MMRV) and a new routine vaccination appointment at 18 months of age.
Further operational information about these changes will be shared with health professionals in the coming weeks. In the meantime, a press release from the Department of Health and Social Care confirms the introduction of the varicella vaccine to the routine schedule.
